Mortgage Loans for Philippine Real Estate – For You Who Live in the Middle East
Living and working in the Middle East no longer prevents you from owning property in the Philippines through a bank-financed mortgage. Whether you’re based in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, or elsewhere in the region, you can now apply for a mortgage loan from top Philippine banks — even without residing or working in the Philippines.
Eligibility Requirements
-
Citizenship: You are eligible if you are a Filipino citizen, a former Filipino (for land purchases up to 1,000 sqm), or a dual citizen. Foreign nationals residing in the Middle East can qualify only for condominium unit purchases in accordance with Philippine property law.
-
Marital Status: You are not required to be married to a Filipino citizen in order to apply.
-
Spouse Signature: If you are married, your spouse must sign as a co-borrower. Additionally, a Special Power of Attorney (SPA) is required, allowing a trusted representative in the Philippines to process documents and act on your behalf.
